SUMMARY
purpose
The primary responsibility of the Stock Controller is to maintain the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of stored stock items for end-users. The Stock Controller plays a vital role in maintaining stock accuracy, availability, and efficient distribution within the organization, while also ensuring that stock items are properly safeguarded.
key responsibilities
- Receiving and verifying deliveries: responsible for accepting deliveries of ordered goods from both external and internal suppliers, meticulously inspect the received items, cross-checking them against the purchase order and invoice.
- Coordinating stock placement: Once the deliveries are approved, efficiently organises and allocates the stock to the appropriate sections or storage areas. This includes categorising and placing items according to their specifications, ensuring they are easily accessible when needed.
- Distributing stock to internal departments: In response to purchase order requests from internal departments, issues the requested stock items. Ensure that the distribution aligns with the relevant purchase orders, facilitating the smooth flow of goods.
- Updating information in the system: The Stock Controller diligently captures and updates relevant information regarding received goods into the system. This includes recording details such as quantities, specifications, and any other necessary data to maintain an accurate inventory record.

- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in similar role
- Valid Forklift Driver License
