Collections Agent

As a Collections Agent, you will be responsible for engaging with customers and businesses to recover overdue payments and negotiate suitable repayment arrangements. The role focuses on maximizing collections on outstanding accounts while ensuring strict adherence to company policies and applicable legislation, including the National Credit Act. You will be expected to maintain accurate records of all interactions, manage accounts in line with collection strategies, and deliver a high standard of customer service while handling sensitive financial matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Debt Collection
• Follow up on overdue accounts via calls, email, and statements
• Negotiate payment arrangements with customers
• Ensure collections targets are met

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• 1–6 years’ experience in debt collections
• Strong knowledge of debt collection processes
