Shift Artisan

A leading dairy manufacturing company in the Eastern Cape is seeking a qualified and proactive Shift Artisan to join its Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled artisan who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment and is passionate about maintaining high-performing production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support during their assigned shift by carrying out preventative maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, and ensuring maximum equipment reliability. Working closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams, the Shift Artisan will play a key role in achieving production targets while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and health and safety compliance.

Minimum Requirements

Matric

Red Seal Trade Tested Millwright/Electrician

N6 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Minimum of 5 years’ experience (POST APPRENTICESHIP)

Within a Dairy Manufacturing Environment
