Electrical Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their Cape Town office. This opportunity is ideal for a technically capable professional who can confidently manage projects independently while delivering high-quality engineering solutions across all stages of project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering projects from concept through to completion
• Prepare electrical designs, calculations, specifications, and technical reports
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and project specifications
• Review drawings and provide technical guidance during project implementation
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and quality requirements
• Attend site meetings and inspections where required
• Mentor junior team members when necessary

Requirements

• BEng or BSc in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant electrical engineering experience
• Proven ability to independently manage and deliver engineering projects
• Strong technical design and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities
