Lean Manufacturing Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled Lean Manufacturing Engineer to join their manufacturing operation in the Western Cape

Key Responsibilities

Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity and operational efficiency

Analyse manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for waste reduction and cost savings

Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement projects

Develop and implement standardised work practices and process improvements

Monitor key performance indicators and track improvement initiatives

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams

Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation

Minimum Requirements

Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Degree

Experience in a Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement role within manufacturing

Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping

Excellent analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Proficiency in data analysis and process improvement methodologies
