SUMMARY

The E&I Engineer will support the design, development and delivery of electrical and instrumentation systems for mining and mineral processing equipment. The role involves producing technical drawings, designing control and instrumentation layouts, supporting commissioning activities and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial equipment Prepare wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, panel layouts and instrument schedules Assist with PLC and control system integration Support commissioning, testing and troubleshooting activities on site when required Ensure designs comply with SANS, IEC and site specifications Collaborate with mechanical, process and project engineering teams Prepare technical documentation and participate in design reviews Liaise with suppliers on component selection and procurement Requirements BEng Electrical or BSc Electrical Engineering Experience in electrical and instrumentation design within mining, manufacturing or heavy industrial environments Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN Understanding of PLCs, instrumentation, control systems and industrial safety standards Strong problem solving and communication skills Travel locally and abroad involved Mail your CV to
