Site Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Site Manager with a strong Mechanical Engineering background to oversee the successful execution of mechanical projects on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, coordinating project activities, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all site operations and supervise project execution.
• Coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ policies, client specifications, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
• Prepare and submit project progress reports.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure resources, equipment, and materials are available for project execution.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and project stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering qualification (Degree, Diploma or National Diploma).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Site Manager
• Experience in welding fabrication, hydraulic and diesel and mechanical service work
• Proven experience managing mechanical construction and maintenance projects.
• Strong knowledge of relevant engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Willingness to travel and work on various project sites.
