Welding

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Welder to join our team for project-based work within the mining, construction industries on a temporary basis. The successful candidate must be competent in performing high-quality welding in accordance with industry standards while maintaining strict compliance with safety and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding on structural steel, piping, and mechanical components in accordance with approved procedures.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Carry out repairs and modifications where required.
• Ensure all welding equipment is maintained and used safely.
• Comply with company, client, and legal SHEQ requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and timeously

Minimum Requirements

• ISO 9606 Welding Certification (Essential – certification must be submitted as proof).
• Minimum 3 years' proven welding experience
• Proficient in a variety of welding processes (MMA/SMAW, MIG, TIG, FCAW as applicable).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of welding codes, standards, and quality requirements.
• Good understanding of SHEQ policies and safe work practices.
• Medically fit to work on industrial sites.
