Qualifications

• Minimum of professional drafting credentials
• 2 – 6 years of drafting experience in the automotive field.
• Previous experience in the military vehicle environment would be greatly advantageous.
• Onshape and SolidWorks preferred or relevant CAD package.
• SolidWorks PDM or relevant PDM system.
• Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design and Draughting: Execution of design tasks within the parameters and interfaces set by the Chief Designer or Senior Design Engineer
• Prepare Solid Models of components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies, using the business file structure guidelines and number protocol
• Prepare detailed layout and manufacturing drawings of components and assemblies
• Test and Evaluation: assist during the building and testing of prototypes
• Project Management
• Production support, capturing of red-line drawings during the building and prototype phase
