Quantity Surveyor

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to become part of a dynamic consulting environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the commercial success of a range of building projects while providing accurate cost management and professional contract administration services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost plans, estimates, and bills of quantities.
• Manage financial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Administer JBCC contracts and monitor contractual compliance.
• Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Assist with procurement and tender evaluations.
• Produce accurate financial reports and project cost forecasts.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Requirements

• BSc Honours in Quantity Surveying
• At least 2 years' private sector quantity surveying experience.
• Excellent practical and contractual knowledge, particularly JBCC.
• Proficient in WinQS and DimX.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and perform under pressure.
