Hopelands Cancer Centre is seeking a Nursing Sister to ensure professional holistic care of patients and maintain best patient care at all times as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team

  • To assess patient’s health by focusing on the physical, mental and emotional status.
  • To identify oncological emergencies and act promptly.
  • To provide advice, support and care to the patients and those close to them.
  • Ensure understanding and implementation of the complexity of the chemotherapy drugs as well as educating the patient on coping with side effects.
  • To ensure proper mixing and administration of drugs as per protocols and procedures.
  • Must have at least 5 years’ experience preferably in an Oncology environment.
  • Must be registered as a Registered Nurse with the South African Nursing Council
  • Grade 12
  • Must comply with codes of Practice of SANC.
