Wastewater Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled Wastewater Engineer to join their Cape Town office. This role is ideal for a professionally registered engineer with experience in the planning, design, and implementation of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• BSc, BEng, or BTech in Civil Engineering
• A Master’s in Water and Wastewater Treatment Processes is a strong advantage.
• At least 8 years of experience in wastewater infrastructure design and contract administration, with good knowledge of treatment plant processes.
• Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer/Technologist, or close to registration.
• A valid driver’s licence.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills are a requirement.
• Strong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, Word and MS Project.

• The design of wastewater infrastructure
• Project management of multidisciplinary projects
• Preparing contract documentation
• Contract administration
• Supporting Green Drop and Blue Drop compliance.
