Our client has a vacancy for a SAQCC Fire Detection (DGS) Technician, for a permanent role, based in Midrand, Gauteng.

Applicants are required to strictly meet the following criteria:

Grade 12, valid Driver’s license and valid registration with SAQCC
Minimum 3-years’ experience working on Fire Detection and Sprinkler Systems
Previous experience and knowledge of programming of fire detection control panels
Previous Pipe Fitter experience is essential.
Basic Knowledge of relevant applicable SANS codes
Be able to conduct surveys, draft quotations to clients and oversee completion of projects
Target and goal orientated; Ability to work without supervision.

The s uccessful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Manage and complete special projects
Manage and supervise assistant technicians
Travel to various destinations and work outside normal working hours when required
Ensure that all work complies to relevant SANS codes
