Job Position: Temporary Project Engineer – Automotive Logistics Division (automotive manufacturing)

Qualifications / Requirements:

National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Industrial Engineering / Logistics /Project or Operations Management

Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics processes within an automotive manufacturing environment
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Project Engineer in Logistics Planning or similar
Minimum 2 years’ Project Management experience
Experience with CAD systems, Power BI , Simulation Programs
Experience working with external contractors on facility development/modifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to compile reports and present proposals to management
Strong planning and organisational capability
Good communication (written and verbal)
Computer literacy and CAD proficiency
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in teams
Diplomacy and stakeholder engagement skills

Key Performance Areas:

The role supports Production, P&A, Localization, and Export projects by ensuring efficient material flow, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement of logistics operations
To facilitate all OHSE ,legal , Internal and External audits for the Logistics Division
Plan and implement logistics projects, production requests, and improvement initiatives
Design and implement logistics facilities (racking, packaging, storage, trolleys, pallets, etc)
Develop production and warehouse layouts using CAD systems
Coordinate project meetings and liaise with stakeholders across departments
Develop and optimise packaging specifications to reduce cost and prevent damage
Ensure compliance with safety, technical, and operational standards
