We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer (Advanced) to join a dynamic global technology team. This role is ideal for a developer with strong Angular expertise and experience building modern, responsive web applications within cloud-native environments. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise applications while collaborating within Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Experience building responsive layouts with CSS and HTML
  • AWS Cloud
  • Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

  • Experience working with a team of UX designers
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, JIRA)

  • Experience with testing tools like Karma, Jasmine, Cypress
  • Development and maintenance on platform/application
  • Review and present proposed system solutions to IT Project Manager/Leader and User Management or System Owner
  • Develop system solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements
  • Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards)
  • Meet with end users and gather requirements
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups
  • Ability and willingness to coach and train fellow colleagues and users when required
  • User training
  • Compile user and operational manuals
  • Conduct system audits
  • Understand integration between different technologies
  • Coordinate between development and support environments
  • Assist with business case development
  • Planning and monitoring
  • Eliciting requirements
  • Requirements organisation
  • Translating and simplifying requirements
  • Requirements management and communication
  • Requirements analysis
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2–3 years' experience in a relevant programming language
  • South African citizens/residents are preferred. Applicants with valid work permits will also be considered.
