Debtors Controller

Our client is looking for an experienced Debtors Controller with exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills to manage a dedicated portfolio of accounts.

• Ensure the compliance with the companys Debtors processes and procedures

• Accurate monthly invoicing of specified client accounts in accordance to their requirements

• Maintenance of dedicated Debtors age analysis (collection, query handling and remittances)

• Consistent client payment reporting to Management and in accordance to client terms

• Ensure dedicated client base is updated and maintained at all times (in client files and on Parcel Perfect)
• Excellent Time Management required to ensure efficient completion of all required Debtors processes

Education and Experience

• Mathematics and English Matric pass

• A minimum of 3 years previous Debtors control experience (current/recent)

• Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications: MSWord, Excel, Outlook Express with excellent Excel skills (at an intermediate level)

• An excellent understanding of the Debtors process, from invoicing to Age Analysis

• Parcel Perfect experience, especially in invoicing and sending out Statements, Debtors age control, receipting and allocating debtors payments (Preferable but not essential).

• Professional Telephone and email etiquette

• English speaking

• Have outstanding communication skills, energetic, dedicated and driven

• Own vehicle preferable

• Non-Smoker preferable

Key Competencies and requirements

• Experience in Debtors controlling with personal experience in invoicing, receipting, and management of a debtors, Age Analysis analysis

• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills (English)

• Must be able to resolve client queries efficiently and timeously

• Attention to detail, systematic, with skilled time management

• Stress tolerance and be able to work under pressure

• Hardworking and reliable

• Must be a TEAM PLAYER and willing to help
