ConsultANZ is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join one of New Zealand’s leading civil infrastructure companies, based in Auckland. Our client has a strong presence in the roading and maintenance space and is known for delivering high-quality transport infrastructure projects.   • Manage and oversee all aspects of road maintenance and upgrade projects

  • Take full accountability for Health & Safety, quality, environmental, and contractual compliance

  • Programme and schedule works to ensure timely project delivery

  • Build and lead a high-performing site team

  • Manage project budgets and commercial performance

  • Act as the key liaison with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers

  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across project delivery

  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development

  • 10+ years of post-graduate experience in civil construction

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a construction-related discipline

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering road-based projects

  • Strong site management and on-the-ground project delivery experience

  • Practical, hands-on leadership style with strong communication skills

  • Ability to solve problems under pressure and lead with confidence

  • Passion for mentoring and developing others
