Accounting & Tax Professional - Johannesburg

Are you an experienced Accounting & Tax Professional looking to join a dynamic and growing accounting practice? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, tax, and compliance experience. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a varied role where you will gain exposure to accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, and client advisory services within a professional environment.

• Bookkeeping up to Trial Balance
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Payroll processing and related payroll functions
• Drafting of annual financial statements
• Tax computations and provisional tax calculations
• Preparation and submission of individual (ITR12) and company (ITR14) tax returns
• SARS eFiling submissions including VAT and PAYE
• Managing SARS audits, objections, disputes, and Notices of Objection (NOOs)
• Handling SARS online appointments and submission of supporting documentation
• Maintaining SARS public officer and security detail updates
• CIPC annual compliance, beneficial ownership submissions, and annual returns (InfoDocs experience advantageous; training will be provided)
• COID (WCA) registrations and annual submissions
• Assisting clients with general accounting, tax, and compliance matters

• Relevant Accounting, Finance, Tax, or Bookkeeping qualification
• Previous experience in an accounting or tax practice
• Solid understanding of South African tax legislation and SARS eFiling
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
• Fluent in English; Afrikaans will be highly advantageous
