Controls Technician

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Controls Technician to join our project team.

The successful candidate must have experience in instrumentation, control systems, HVAC controls, fault-finding, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of control-related equipment.

Minimum Requirements

* National Diploma in Instrumentation* Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Controls Technician or Instrumentation Technician* Experience working with HVAC control systems will be advantageous* Ability to read and interpret control diagrams, electrical drawings, and technical specifications* Strong fault-finding, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting skills* Knowledge of control panels, sensors, transmitters, actuators, and automated control systems* Ability to work independently and as part of a technical site team* Good understanding of health and safety requirements on site

Key Responsibilities

* Installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation and control systems

* Assisting with HVAC controls, automation, and building management systems where required

* Conducting inspections, fault-finding, calibration, and loop testing

* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and control schematics

* Supporting commissioning and handover of control systems

* Reporting faults, defects, and progress to the Site Manager or Engineer

* Ensuring all work is completed safely and according to project specifications
