Parkhurst - AU PAIR - AFTERNOONS

Area: Parkhurst

Ages: 6 year old daughter in Grade 1

Working hours: Monday – Friday: 12:00 - 7:00

School holiday hours: Same hours as above

Duties: C ollect from school, arranging daily schedule, take to extra-murals and playdates, assist with and supervise homework, assist with kumon, preparing lunch and snacks, assist with buying/collecting items required for school or extra murals, engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child. Occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement and paid additionally). The first 45min-1hour needs to be reserved for home admin e.g. groceries, taking my elderly father to appointments or taking items to the dry cleaner etc.

Requirements: Aged 23 years and older, Experience with the age group. Someone who can be playful and kind but also firm when needed. Experience with Kumon would be a bonus.

Start date: ASAP Start Date – permanent contract

Salary: R10500 - R11000 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95) for any driving done directly for the family. Not to get to and from work.

**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

****Must have a clear criminal record

****Must have a passion for children

****Must have Matric

****Must have a South African ID document.
