A leading manufacturing business in the sheet metal industry is looking for a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to join their finance team. This is a dynamic and hands-on role suited to a qualified finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in driving operational and financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Full financial management, including preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic input and financial insights to support management decision-making.
• Monitor costings, stock, and project profitability within the manufacturing environment.
• Manage audits and liaise with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders.
• Implement and enhance internal controls, systems, and processes.
• Lead and mentor junior finance staff.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) – newly qualified or up to 3 years post-articles experience.
• Previous exposure to the manufacturing or industrial sector will be highly advantageous.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS, Tax, Compliance).
• Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of ERP systems beneficial.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with both finance and operations teams.
