Audit Accountant

Korridor is looking for a project-based Fixed Term Contractor to manage and execute external audits across multinational legal entities. The role requires a strong audit background, the ability to work independently, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This person will play a key role in supporting audit delivery, ensuring audit readiness, and maintaining strong financial reporting and compliance standards across the entities in scope.

What you will do

• Prepare and review Reconciliations
• Build Audit files
• Audit preparation
• Review Annual Financial Statements
• Audit execution – managing audit process from planning to sign-off, responding to audit queries, ensuring good relationship with auditors
• Internal control reviews to ensure readiness for more efficient auditor approaches (Controls audit vs Substantive audit – reduces sample sizes)
• Proactive Central Finance accounting reviews
• Ensure continuous compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards
• Auditor’s Reports to Management – ensure that auditors’ housekeeping findings are addressed

What we are looking for

• Completed audit articles, with at least 2 years’ post-articles experience in an audit environment
• Strong audit, reconciliation and financial reporting capability, with advanced Excel and strong numerical skills
• High attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to work with complex information and reporting requirements
• Able to work independently and proactively, while also collaborating effectively with stakeholders and wider teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Well-developed organisation, administration and follow-through skills, with the ability to collate information and produce clear, accurate reporting
