Field Service Engineer

A leading engineering and industrial equipment company is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join its technical services team in Gauteng. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technical professional to work directly with customers across heavy manufacturing environments, providing expert installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of industrial equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality field service support to clients, ensuring equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently. This includes commissioning new installations, performing breakdown repairs, conducting preventative maintenance, and supporting customers with technical solutions to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12

Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

7 years’ experience in a similar role

Within the Heavy Manufacturing environment

Knowledge of PLCs and tool controllers, Programming or configuring tightening systems, integrating tools with production line software, and troubleshooting connected manufacturing systems is essential for this role
